These General Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté', address: 19, Rue Bernard de Routier, 11240 Routier in France.
Under Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' is also understood '(the) accommodation' and / or the 'BED & BREAKFAST' or the 'FAMILY HOUSE'.
Where you read 'guest(s)' in these terms and conditions you can also read 'tenant(s)' or 'user(s)'.
Owners / managers of Guesthouse / Bed &Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' are Danny Cordier and Sylvie Van Waes. The owners/managers can be replaced. Where you read 'administrator(s)' in these terms and conditions, you can also read 'owner(s)'.
After the reservation confirmation has been sent, the General Terms and Conditions take effect (see point 4)..
Guests of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' must adhere to the Rules and Regulations that are provided to them at the time of booking and that are also available for inspection at the accommodation's General Terms and Conditions and Rules and Regulations can also be viewed on the website www.bblechatbotte.fr.
In case of violation of the General Terms and Conditions and/or the Internal Regulations, or in case of inappropriate behaviour, the owner(s) / manager(s) may with immediate effect deny and/or refuse guests access to Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté', without further notification and statement of reasons and without refund of accommodation costs.
Upon request, a copy of the General Terms and Conditions / Internal Regulations will be provided free of charge.

The accommodation is described on the website www.bblechatbotte.fr.
This website has been compiled with the greatest care, but there may be differences between the text and/or photographs presented on the website and the current situation of 'Le Chat Botté' at the time of the visit by guests. No rights can be derived by the guests from such differences.
Pets are allowed in consultation with the owner(s) / manager(s).
The accommodation has been made as accessible as possible for people with a physical disability. Please contact us if you have any questions about the facilities available and we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The current room rates are described on the BookingManager of www.bblechatbotte.fr.
The rates of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' are without obligation and subject to interim price changes and obvious errors.
Prices do not include breakfast, and include gas, water, electricity, heating and VAT.
Tourist tax (€ 0.59 per person / per night) will be charged extra. The tourist tax must be paid on arrival.
The rates are exclusive of the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs.
All information on the website of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' (www.bblechatbotte.fr) is deemed to have been provided in good faith and is always subject to interim modifications. Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' is not bound by manifest errors on its website.
The confirmation of your booking will show the corresponding final rate valid on the date of confirmation.

The reservation of a room / family house in Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' can be made verbally, by telephone or in writing.
In addition, reservations can be made via the Internet:

• The website of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' (www.bblechatbotte.fr)
• The different booking websites (booking.com / Airbnb.com/vrpo.com)

In case of a direct booking (verbal / telephone / written / via the website www.bblechatbotte.fr) no reservation costs will be charged. Only the tourist tax of € 0.59 per person / per night will be charged on arrival.
Guests must have a permanent place of residence or domicile.
The person who has registered with us is the main guest and must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Upon receipt of your reservation request Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' will send a final confirmation by e-mail.
Upon that moment, the General Terms and Conditions come into force:

• Without your contact details it is impossible to provide a definitive confirmation
• After confirmation of your reservation, it is final for both parties.

After the reservation has been confirmed by Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' via the contact form , you will have to transfer the amount of the total stay to our account.
The costs must be transferred to bank account number IBAN: BE60 0017 9505 0270 BIC: GEBABEBB to Guesthouse Le Chat Botté in Routier stating the invoice/ - reservation number.
If you visit us and stay overnight on the day itself, you will receive your invoice on the spot and you can also make your payment in cash.
Business guests always receive an invoice. Private guests can also ask for this.
Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' cannot accept payment by credit card or bank PIN on the spot.

If you are unexpectedly unable to make use of the reserved room(s), you should report this to the owner(s) as soon as possible so that we can offer the vacated rooms to others as soon as possible.
Bij annulering betaalt / betalen de gast(en) een vergoeding aan de beheerder:

• cancellation up to two weeks before the booked date / effective date is free of charge
• in the case of cancellation between 14 and 8 days before the booked date/start date: 50% of the agreed price
• in the case of cancellation between 7 and 2 days before the booked date/start date: 75% of the agreed price
• in the case of cancellation between 2 and 0 days before the booked date/start date: 100% of the agreed price
• No-Show: if you are not in attendance on the date(s) booked without cancellation, 100% of the contracted price will be charged.

In order to qualify for a refund of the amount already paid (if applicable), the cancellation must be communicated in writing (by email or post) to Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté'.

Upon arrival you must first report to the owner.
You will be asked to show your passport or proof of identity.
The main guest will receive a key of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' which must be handed in on departure.
On the day of arrival, rooms / family house are available from 16:00.
On the day of departure you must leave your reserved room / family house by 11:00 at the latest.
Only in agreement with the owner/manager can the above times be derogated.
No refund will be made in the event of an early departure.

Breakfast is not included in the accommodation costs. If you do not use breakfast, we cannot calculate a discount or deduct costs.
You can have breakfast in the kitchen.

Noise annoyance, especially between 22:00 and 07:00 and all day Sunday, must be prevented. This applies not only in the accommodation itself, but also on the terrace and balconies: please keep our neighbours in mind.
Radios, televisions and other sound sources must not cause nuisance to others.
Potential visitors of guests are not allowed to stay overnight in the accommodation without permission of the owner(s) / manager and without additional payment. These visitors are also not allowed to use the terrace, parking spaces, unless in consultation and with the approval of the owner(s) / manager(s).

Guests must follow the instructions of the owner/manager.
Vehicles should be parked in the designated areas.
The accommodation must be kept clean and tidy and must be leaved on time.
Where you can find the First Aid Box and fire extinguishers is indicated on your arrival (a map is available on the corridors and in your room).
Immediately report the presence of suspicious persons / activities to the owner(s) / manager.
Smoking, incense and open fire are not allowed because of fire safety. Smoking outside is allowed as long as it does not bother others.
The bedrooms are suitable for a maximum of two persons.
The entire accommodation can be accommodated up to a maximum of 6 people.
The accommodation is accessible 24 hours a day during a stay.
The key is available from the owner(s) / manager(s).

The owner(s) / manager(s) cannot be held liable for personal injury resulting from the stay in our accommodation, nor can they be held liable for damage, loss or theft of guests' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are for the account of the guests.
All risks related to a stay in Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' are at the expense of the guests.
Damage and loss of movable and immovable property of the owner must be reported immediately by the users to the owner(s)/manager(s) and compensated.
In case of loss of keys of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' all resulting costs will be charged to the guest(s).
Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation such as power and water supplies and technical installations, unannounced or untimely construction and/or road works in the vicinity of Guesthouse / Bed & Breakfast 'Le Chat Botté' .

The guest is at all times entitled to submit his grievances to the owner(s) / manager(s) by means of a complaint. They will always deal with a complaint adequately and expeditiously, in such a way that the complaint is dealt with according to standards of reasonableness and fairness.
The administration of the administrators is decisive in the event of a difference of opinion between them, unless the users can prove otherwise.
Any deviation not included in the General Terms and Conditions shall be decided by the owner.

In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, the owner(s)/manager(s) are entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest(s) being able to claim fulfilment and/or compensation.
Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, acts of war, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, exceptional weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close family members, etc. under which full or partial compliance with the agreement cannot be required of the owner(s) / manager(s) in all reasonableness and fairness.

The personal data provided or made known will be treated confidentially by the owner(s) / manager(s) and will not be made available to third parties.

Unless the rules of private international law provide otherwise, the present terms and conditions shall be governed exclusively by French law. Non-Dutch-speaking guests are deemed to agree to the general terms and conditions.
All disputes arising from the User Agreement or these Terms and Conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in France, unless the rules of private international law provide otherwise.
None of the parties may transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise provided in these terms and conditions.
